By the end of the course you will have gained a good knowledge on a variety of chosen topics about Spain and Latin America. The course will help you to talk with more confidence and exchange information on different aspects of the Hispanic world (culture, history, the arts, current affairs, etc.). By the end of the course you will have the opportunity to learn how to: To learn and discuss about current affaires on various countries for Latin America. To learn and participate in conversation on the present situation of Spain and/or specific autonomous regions. To research on a specific topic, agreed with your tutor, and make a presentation to the class on this topic. To learn about aspects of the culture and/or history of Spanish speaking countries. To read, study and participate in discussions and/or debates on news articles, films, or short stories. To talk and take part in discussions about a chosen novel and film by a Hispano-American writer. Since the classes are conducted 100% in Spanish, students will be encouraged to put into use their knowledge of the language. They will also be encouraged to further improve their vocabulary and knowledge by taking part in discussions, debates, reports from news articles from newspapers, TV or the Internet about Hispanic world.
