Course code for reference LS6LALT1004Aims of the Course:Learn and extend your practice of crochet stitches and techniques while you create a crocheted item for the home.By the end of this course you will be able to:Hold and use a crochet hook and yarn confidently.Use slip stitch and chain stitch.Use other stitches including double half treble & treble crochet.Extend existing techniques through practice.Build a basic knowledge of crochet pattern terminology.Demonstrate the basic techniques for working in rows and/or roundsCreate a crocheted for the home from a patternAbout the CourseWhether you are a total beginner or have some experience there will be something for you. Create a crocheted item for the home. With plenty of patterns and project ideas available the choice is yours. From simple mats coasters cushions blankets and baskets to lace tablecloths and doilies choosing will be the hardest part!All materials will be discussed in the first session.
