This exciting one year course offers a broad introduction to the main areas of professional art & design practice. The First Diploma experience is designed to provide an excellent bridging year for students who wish to improve their art & design qualifications profile or develop more confidence in a wide range of art & design skills. In addition to studio based work a number of trips and visits to exhibitions and locations throughout the course will introduce you to the world of art and design and help to inspire your creative project work.
