The A1 Award for Assessors has been revised and re-written by Lifelong Learning UK (LLUK) and there are now four new qualifications for assessors. The Award/Certificate is introduced over 2 half-day workshops followed by one-to-one tutorials and self-directed study. It prepares assessors to meet the requirements of the qualification and will include: Planning and candidate preparation; Assessment; Analysis; Decision taking; Recording; Feedback; Engaging with the quality assurance process.
