Horse Management City & Guilds (NPTC) Extended Diploma Level 3

This course is for anyone progressing from a level 2 qualification, four GCSE's grade 'C' and above or who has relevant industry experience. You will need to be well motivated with good riding and interpersonal skills. Ideal if: you are well motivated and want a professional career working with horses with emphasis on the practical abilities. You'll need: four GCSEs at grade C or above and an appropriate level of riding ability. You'll learn: about the theory of horse care as well as practical training. You will study through a mixture of lectures and practical lessons. Expect: to do yard duties on a regular basis which will include some weekends. You'll love: regular riding lessons and the opportunity to ride in student competitions. You'll go onto: further opportunities at higher education level in a Foundation Degree in Equitation, Training & Behaviour.
