Certificate in Education (Cert Ed) incorporating the Diploma in Education and Training (DET) is specifically designed for people with a commitment to teaching in the Lifelong Learning sector: Further Education; Community Education; Work-based Learning and similar public sector, voluntary and commercial settings. The course is offered as both a one year full-time programme at Cornwall College sites in Camborne and St Austell, and as a two year part-time programme in St Austell, Camborne and Saltash and/or Stoke Climsland. If you decide to study full time, you will be required to attend College for two days a week with additional teaching practice over two or three days a week and other directed study, including the use of our Virtual Learning Environment. If you decide to study part time, you will attend college for approximately 3 hours per week, through the day or in the evening.
