Ideal if: you are a trainee wood machinist and wish to train on the job. You'll need: to be currently employed and to have already completed the level 2 apprenticeship. You'll learn: the methods of machining complex joinery to produce sawn, planed, profiled, jointed, sanded and bored timber, and how to use CNC machines. Expect: to put together a portfolio of evidence to show your skills. You'll love: working in our well-equipped workshops and being supported by expert tutors. You'll go onto: employment, or further study such as the Foundation Degree in Sustainable Construction at Cornwall College
