The programme is for anyone who is interested in improving their listening skills and wants to improve their communication and understanding of others at work, or with family and friends. It is a useful way of finding out something about counselling for those who are considering further training or a career change. If you think you are in need of counselling yourself, this is probably not the time to be considering a counselling course. If you have recently experienced emotional difficulties or psychological problems, you may find the contents of the course difficult to cope with at this time. Some of this course involves personal disclosure, which you may find stressful.
