In the construction industry it is not just about painting and decorating a room in a house. A painter and decorator could paint large structures like road or railway bridges spray paint walls in factories or schools apply gold leaf to fixtures in a stately home or restore neglected buildings. Assessment will be made through assignments and on the job tasks until all the requirements have been met. You will be supported to improve on areas of weakness and where necessary will receive extra training.
