Biology is all around us. It is the study of living things: the diversity of life the structure and function of living organisms and their interactions with the natural environment. This fascinating subject is rapidly changing and having an ever increasing impact on everyday life. Biology is fun and will develop your understanding of yourself and the world you live in. We hope to run the A2 evening class in this subject but it is dependent on numbers of students.
Name: Biology Qualification title: GCE AS Level in Biology Qualification type: Assessment Assessment for AS Biology is by two written examinations of 1 hour 30 minutes and each exam is worth 50% of the AS. These exams will be sat at the end of the first year and do not contribute to the final A - level.
