The Level 2 Certificate is designed to provide you with the training needed to work with children between birth and five years with knowledge of children up to seven years old. It will give you the skills and confidence to carry on with further study. The course is studied over 1 year and includes topics such as childcare routines, role of the practitioner, children's play and child development. English and Maths are integral to the course. All learners will spend 2 days each week in a real work environment where you will be assessed on practical skills working with children.
