The course will give you a good introduction to hairdressing, in two stages, which can be taken separately or consecutively. The first stage provides training to an assistant hairdresser level (level 1). The second stage allows you to complete the requirements of the first year and then progress to the level 2 qualification. You will cover: health and safety, preparing for hairdressing services and maintaining work areas, shampooing and conditioning, contributing to the development of effective working in hairdressing, assisting with hair colour service, assisting with reception, styling hair, plaiting and twisting hair.
