This course is aimed at students who are already employed in a teaching role within the post-compulsory sector. You will be challenged to explore theories of teaching and learning and to examine the implications of such theories for your own development. Our experienced lecturers will take you through each of the elements of your chosen course, providing practical examples to ensure that the theories learnt can be applied to the working environment. Success rates across our Higher Education programmes are high and many of our students progress onto a further one year of study to gain a full Honours degree. Four units in each year. The units covered include: - Planning and preparing for teaching and learning - Teaching and learning process - Assessment and evaluation - Context and curriculum - Professional practice - Observed practice
