Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship

UPDATED 20150813 10:48:00

This apprenticeship is aimed at current employees and volunteers who are working and providing support in the classroom. Play is a vital role in today's classrooms to ensure students get the most out of their lessons. You will work with teachers, carry out duties such as lesson preparation and work with small groups or individuals, allowing the teacher to concentrate on teaching the class. You'll be working as part of a team and will be supervised by a teacher or SENCO representative. Your duties will vary depending on how the teachers you work with plan their lessons and handle day-to-day classroom activities.
