Introduction to parts of the computer and what makes up a computer e.g. keyboard, mouse, monitor etc. Word Processing – entering text, numbers and symbols. Save and print a document. Introduction to using the Internet – search for information. Set up and use an e-mail account. Term 1 You will learn where to change settings, find your apps, set up email accounts. Review the changes between Windows 7.1 and Windows 10. The course is taught on our laptops with Wi-Fi access. You will need: A notepad and pen. Additional costs: None Progression: You can progress onto a further ICT course dependent on your current skills level and interest.
