If your ambition is a career in the visual arts or design this is the course for you. It forms a bridge between A Levels (Level 3) and University (Level 4). Working over a broad range of Art and Design disciplines you will be encouraged, and helped, to work on your own initiative, think independently and solve problems with flare. The course will also help you get together a great portfolio of work, full of exciting ideas. Our course concentrates on creative thinking processes rather than craft techniques. Students are encouraged to follow their particular artistic preferences from an early stage. During the course students are free to develop their individual interests, be they 2D, such as drawing, painting, graphic design, photography or 3D, such as, ceramics, sculpture, interior design, fashion and accessory design.
