Our qualification combines competence and technical knowledge to give you the practical competencies, technical skills and sector-related knowledge you need to be able to carry out a job effectively This is a practical, work-related course introducing you to business administration and IT and the employment opportunities these areas can lead to.

Name: Office Administration Level 1 Certificate with ICT Entry 3 Qualification title: Functional Skills qualification in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) at Entry 3 Qualification type: Assessment You will be required to attend college two to three times per week, and you will be participating in class and small group discussions focussing on particular aspects of the administrator role; practical demonstrations of key pieces of office equipment giving best practice guidance on health and safety issues surrounding that equipment and role play. For example, answering telephone calls and dealing with customers/client. All knowledge units are assessed through an internally and externally quality assured Portfolio of Evidence. To achieve a competence unit, you must gather evidence showing that you have met the required standard specified in the assessment criteria and you will be assessed in a variety of methods depending on the units; for example: observation, Questions and Answers, Professional Discussion and more. You will also need to sit an assessment for the ICT element of the course which will give you an overall grade of a Pass upon completion of the course.
