Basic Construction Skills (Carpentry and Joinery) Award

Designed for students with little or no knowledge of carpentry and joinery wishing to develop their skills further. The course can range from door hanging, fitting skirting boards, architraves, fitting kitchens, floor joists and the construction of roof structures. Or setting out, marking out and producing joinery items such as doors, window and door frames, staircases or even just a little project to take home.
