You will learn, develop and practice the skills required for employment and career progression in plastering. You will study units such as: principles of building construction, information and communication; preparing background surfaces and mixing plastering materials; applying scratch coats to internal backgrounds; fixing sheet materials; applying floating coats to walls; applying setting coats to walls; and health, safety and welfare in construction. On this full time 1 year course of study you will learn about and how to use different types of plaster, render, plaster board, all professional tools and equipment and you will gain the skills and techniques needed to start a career in the trade.
