By the end of the course you will be able to plan and create a piece of stained glass taking into consideration, complexity of design, appropriate types and colours of glass, how to work safely, using the appropriate tools and how to best clean and finish your work. For the first session please bring Small dustpan and brush. Medium sized black and red felt tip pens. IDEAS - there will be design books for you to use in the sessions for ideas. Additional cost will be GBP9 a term for the use of specialist equipment which is required. Cost of materials e.g. Glass, lead, foil, solder and cement will be extra and dependant on the size of the project. The tutor always has a box of offcuts which can be used either free or very low cost. Should you wish to work on a panel for a particular window at home please bring the measurements with you.
