You will learn basic jewellery making techniques suitable for metals including silver, such as forging, texturing and soldering and design work to make a personal piece of work. All of the base metal (copper) is covered by the course fee, except where large items are being made. However, you will need to provide silver if required (advice from tutor) and there is an additional charge of GBP10 payable to the tutor in cash at the first session for consumable items such as gas and saw blades. You will need a note/sketch book and drawing materials. General tools will be provided.
