The CIPD Intermediate level certificates and diplomas also provide the underpinning knowledge towards Associate (Assoc CIPD) professional membership. You will study 9 modules in total covering a broad range of Human Resources Management issues within a business context; these include developing professional practice, business issues and the context of human resources, using information in HR and managing and coordinating the human resources function. Throughout the course, you will put together a portfolio of coursework including written reports, case study work and reflection. The course consists of 220 taught hours (including three Saturday sessions) and students should allow themselves the same amount of time to study outside of the course. Students must also join the CIPD as a studying member.
