Drawing and Painting - mixed ability

On this course you will gain the underpinning knowledge of drawing and construction methods, painting techniques both experimental and traditional, compositional design skills, plein air practice, colour theory and observational skills. You will cover Still life painting Construction drawing Tonal drawing Linier perspective Flower painting Composition Plein air Individual project For the course you will need A drawing pad or cartridge pad. Graphite pencils HB, 2B, 4B. Box of willow charcoal. Paints of learner`s own choice from watercolour to acrylics or oils (this can be discussed with tutor on the first session) For the first session please bring pencils and paper.
