Summer cookery

A fun and social course for adults with learning disabilities. A basic practical cookery course covering meal planning, healthy eating, kitchen safety and food hygiene. You`ll learn about healthy foods and how to plan a balanced diet and prepare and cook a variety of delicious dishes. You will be given a list of ingredients each week to buy for the following week`s class. Please make sure you bring an apron, container suitable for taking food home, a tea towel, a dish cloth and money for refreshments each week. It is not possible to enrol on-line for this course.
