A fun and social workshop for adults with learning disabilities. Join us at the Pitt Rivers Museum for a tour to look at a variety of interesting objects made from metal, including votive offerings, amulets and the brand new metalwork case. You will get to handle different objects made of metal and the minerals each object was made from. You will be able to design and emboss your own aluminium or copper foil amulet/broach to take home. This workshop is free but as a gesture of appreciation we invite everyone to make a GBP2 donation to the Museum. It is not possible to enrol on-line for this workshop. For further information and to enrol please call the ALD Team on 01865 791037.
