GCSE Mathematics

UPDATED 20150810 16:01:34

The AQA linear specification examines all the material at the end of the course. There are 2 exams, non-calculator and calculator, and the final grade is based on the combined result from both papers. There is no coursework for GCSE Maths. The course will cover basic numeracy (fractions, percentages etc), geometry, algebra, graphs, data handling and probability. There will be opportunities later in the course to revise topics and practice exam papers under exam conditions. It may be possible for some students to take the higher tier exams, but the majority of the course will focus on the Foundation tier, more information regarding this course is available on our website - http://www.goole-college.co.uk
