Course Content:This course replaces the current NVQ Certificate in Children's Care, Learning and Development and is valid across England and Wales. The course provides underpinning knowledge through themed taught lessons and is assessed through workplace competency and written work. The course is appropriate for those working with the 0-5 year age range (Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum), however, knowledge is assessed on the age range of 0-19 years. The course consists of mandatory and optional units each of which hold a credit value enabling you to pick and choose which optional units are best suited to your real working environment. A full certificate equates to 35 credits.Length:1 year - However flexibility of learning allows you to complete this course early dependent on assessment criteria being met.Entry Requirements:You will be interviewed by an assessor and you will also be required to substantiate either 6 months or 200 hours paid or voluntary work within a child care
