This course will give you the opportunity to achieve the Level 2 Diploma Wood Occupations, Site Carpentry. This nationally recognised qualfication is open to anyone who has achieved the Level 1 Diploma in Carpentry and Joinery and wishes to gain employment in the construction industry. About the course - The Level 2 Diploma in Wood Occupations Carpentry and Joinery is directly related to the NVQ Level 2. The course consists of practical and theoretical work. Some part of the course are common to both options, but you will be asked at the start of the course to decide which option you wish to follow. The two options are Site Carpentry or Bench Joinery Route. Core Units: Know how to carry out safe working practices in construction. Carry out safe working practices in construction.
