D280 - Are you ready to take your first step into the world of Business Administration? If so, this is the course for you. Practical activies will take place in a realistic work environment which includes a reception; telephone system; office equipment; mailroom; stock, sales and payment departments. The course will be supported by visiting speakers from local businesses. You will develop a range of ICT skills while producing documents for our real customers. You will take part in team building, arranging meetings, document production, presenting, receiving and making telephone calls and prioritising workloads. The course includes the following subjects: Foundation Diploma in Business Administration Work Experience involving a range of realistic tasks ITQ Level 1 Functional Skills in English, Mathematics and Information Technology Level 2 Extended Certificate in Business Level 2 Business and Administration Apprenticeship Level 2 Practical Business including NVQ There is a constant demand for suitably qualified administrative staff both locally and nationally.
