This is an intermediate class, working towards level B1 in the Common European Framework for Languages This 20 week course is aimed at adult learners who have some knowledge of German, feel confident using the present tense and have some knowledge of the past tense. Participants will enlarge their vocabulary, employ a wider use of grammar and gain confidence in speaking and understanding German. This is an informal class, using a wide variety of techniques and resources, including group work, pair work, games, websites, etc.The course will involve all 4 skills- speaking (role-play, presentations, conversations)- listening (to the tutor, other students and audio material)- reading (short newspaper articles, texts from books)- writing (notes, letters, summaries).We will also work on grammar by completing exercises and practising in class.
