This is a course which takes a practical look at Popular Music through the use of Music Technology. You will study in detail: Music production techniques Sequencing software and techniques The principles of audio engineering Listening and analysis skills The course makes extensive use of music production software and recording studio equipment. You will develop an in-depth understanding of several software packages including Apple's Logic and Native Instruments' Komplete, and will learn how to analyse typical technical features found in popular music production.
