This Level 2 course is the industry standard for those new to working in a school setting as a Teaching Assistant. The course will build your confidence and awareness around your roles, and associated responsibilities, and will equip you with a toolkit of skills, knowledge and experiences to enable to perform your duties professionally. You must be working in an primary or secondary setting for a minimum of 6 hours per week in a paid or voluntary capacity. Applicants should have access to basic IT packages such as Word and PowerPoint. You will be invited to a pre-course interview to ascertain suitability for the course.
