This course enables students who already have some experience of horticulture and landscaping to develop expertertise in a wide range of subjects relevant to the industry. You will learn about the principles of plant and soil science, landscape and garden design, including computer aided design, understand how to operate machinery, manage plant propagation and plant displays and learn about planting and identification. The course also explores plant health and protection, as well as carrying out wildlife population surveys, ecology and conservation.
