UPDATED 20150806 08:32:57

People who have A level Maths tend to go on to earn higher salaries! Advanced Mathematics develops your ability to reason logically and understand the real world. Maths seems abstract, but you learn it in a very practical way – you don't read it or listen to a lecture about it – you DO it. In some ways, learning maths is like learning to play a musical instrument. You need teaching and regular practice before you can perform proficiently, but you know when you are doing well. It can be a very satisfying subject to study.
