To understand how to paint a (Snow) scene in watercolour, to understand how to work logically from light to dark, applying washes carefully to the surrounding areas. Use masking fluid for details (Eg such as the snow on a bridge). Using warm and cool colour contrasts, shadows are a characteristic blue-lilac colour and were often depicted in winter scenes by Impressionist painters.
