Calligraphy and the Art of Magna Carta

This practical class will introduce student calligraphers to the broad edged pen. Students will be helped to research the lettering of 13th century Gothic hands written at the time of Magna Carta. By using colour and experimenting with layout they will be helped to create a concise finished calligraphic document containing your own personal interpretation of a Bill of Rights.
