Local History: Leisure and Pleasure in London -Theatres, Museums, Parks and More

We will explore the wide variety of ways in which Londoners amuse themselves and refresh their lives. We will examine museums, picture galleries, theatres, music halls, pubs, taverns, cafes and restaurants as well as shopping places and parks and gardens. There will be one or two visits to London.
