Art: Drawing And Painting For Beginners

Course Description: This course explores the many possibilities of drawing and painting medium including: - pencil, soft pastels and coloured pencils, acrylics, watercolour and gouache. These will be used to cover a range of themes based on the landscape and still life. During the course you will develop your skills and confidence in a creative and environment. What will I learn? 1. Gain an understanding of materials and equipment with developing confidence. 2. Sample a variety of drawing and painting media techniques. 3. Combine different drawing and painting media in a series of main studies 4. Recognise and evaluate your own work. 5. Work safely in an art room environment
