Course Description: During this course you will develop your interview skills. This is a three day course for those seeking work, leading to the Open Awards Entry 3 Introduction to Preparing for a Recruitment Interview Unit. Candidates referred by Job Centre Plus will need to attend a pre-course assessment session. You may be entitled to fully funded provision subject to meeting the following criteria: You are on Jobseekers Allowance, Employment Support Allowance (Work Related Activity Group), OR Are unemployed and on a state benefit (where a monetary grant is paid to you) and you need skills training to enter employment Please bring photographic proof of identity to your first session. If you don't have photographic ID please bring two other forms of identity eg Bank card, Bank statement, utility bill, Council tax bill. Attendance at ALL sessions is essential. If you miss a session you may be asked to leave the course. What will I learn? Recognise the importance of being prepared for an interview Recognise recruitment interview questions and responses Understand and demonstrate recruitment interviewee skills Undergo a mock interview
