Course Description: Have you some sewing experience, can use a sewing machine and follow a simple pattern but would like to learn more? Join our Sew Easy Intermediate Class to learn how to fit and adapt patterns and develop your sewing skills. Our friendly workshop class is the perfect place to try out new techniques and exchange ideas. What will I learn? 1. Knowledge of health and safety in the sewing room and use of tools and equipment. 2. Which type of fabric is most suitable for your chosen project. 3. Learn a range of sewing techniques to develop and improve existing knowledge of garment construction, including zips, pockets, sleeves and hemming methods. 4. To produce a well fitting garment from a commercial pattern. 5. To evaluate your work in terms of your own progress.
