This qualification is an ideal route of progression for those who have already completed a Level 2 in Hairdressing. You will build upon your existing knowledge and understanding of hairdressing and will develop enhanced technical skills for employment in the industry as a senior hairdresser/stylist. Learners will work in, and have their hairdressing skills assessed in a 'real' commercial salon and will receive training in: client consultation; advanced cutting; hair colour correction; specialist scalp services and treatments; hair extension services; perming and colouring and creative hairdressing design. You will also gain essential knowledge in Health and Safety, and Personal Learning Thinking Skills (PLTS), and will be given the opportunity to obtain Functional Skills in Maths and English as part of your programme, if required.
