This course is for students who have a learning difficulties or disabilities and would like to develop their confidence and learn to become more independent. Skills will be developed to help individuals look after themselves; build confidence through teamwork and be involved with the local community. The workshops are designed for small groups and student support assistants are on hand to provide help as required. There is full time support by a member of staff outside of workshop times, during breaks and to ensure that students get their transport home at the end of the day.
