This is a work-related, nationally recognised qualification designed for those interested in taking a first step towards an engineering career. Contents include: Practical machining skills leading to a performing engineering operations Level 2 qualification Theoretical knowledge leading to a BTEC level 2 extended certificate in engineering Learners will enjoy a range of course-related visits to engineering companies. Talks by guest speakers from local industry will also be organised. We will also help learners to find a work placement.
