The course is made up of seven units, three of which are compulsory, these are: The Online World; Technology Systems; A Digital Portfolio; Software Development; Mobile Apps Development; Multimedia Products Development; Creating Digital Graphics; Spreadsheet Development; Database Development; Functional Skills in Maths and English.

Entry requirements

To support your application we will ask you to bring in a school report.You will need to purchase a BTEC Level 2 Diploma in IT textbook (approximately £25). You are expected to undertake visits to exhibitions and businesses, some of which will incur a small cost, payable if applicable, whilst on the programme. It is recommended that you have paper, pens, calculator and a memory stick for transferring your work from home to College.
