The first part of the course will introduce skills developing your piping techniques, lettering, writing and cake covering. You will take these skills and develop them into making modern cakes to stun your friends! Examples of cakes you will be making are upside down, zig zag and shoe cakes.
Name: Cake Decoration - Contemporary (NCFE Level 1) Qualification title: Creative Craft Level 1 Qualification type: Assessment A variety of teaching strategies will be used: Whole class teaching, group work, paired work and one to one. You will receive both verbal and written feedback from your tutor about your progress on course. You will complete a folder of work, which will be continually assessed by your tutor.
