During this course learners will be advised on: - The choice of tools and equipment used for each seating method. - How to measure and calculate quantities of materials needed for individual tasks. - The correct preparation and handling of materials. - The skills and techniques needed for the chosen project. - How to strip down and restore eithera) an upholstered chairb) a cane seated stool or chairc) a rush seated stool or chair.On completion of each project learners will also have an awareness of other techniques and skills being employed on other individual projects happening in the class
