During this course learners will have the opportunity to: - Explore textile based materials and equipment. - Practise and develop a range of skills and techniques. - Choose, design and complete a variety of textile projects. - Develop a visual/tactile diary of ideas and inspirations. - Identify tools and equipment needed for a chosen project. - Use tools and equipment in a safe manner. - Practise cleaning tools and equipment and storing them safely. - Apply ICT, number, communication, reading and writing skills to projects and displays. - Improve confidence and social skills through participation in group discussions and activities.
