Sculpture - Pet Portraits in Clay

UPDATED 20150728 15:20:46

This course is designed for those who are interested in art and in practical skills with the idea of combining the two. You will learn how to plan, design and support your work. You will learn how to prepare and hand - build with clay. The tutor will assist you with your chosen idea, sketch or image of your choice, and help you turn that into a 3D reality. There will be demonstrations, and group discussions about the work in progress. The overall aim of the course is to build learners confidence with materials and processes. Please note that we will not be making life size models as this is a short course and the work will be fired in the studio kiln for collection later, so size will be limited to 25cm in height or width.
