Royal History - The Kings and Queens of Spain

The story of the Spanish monarchy, from the great medieval kingdoms of Aragon and Castile and Leon to the rulers of the united Spain. Spain is one of only ten surviving monarchies in Europe yet it was only in the sixteenth century, following the marriage of the Catholic Kings, Ferdinand and Isabella, that the unification of the country was achieved.
