Oil paint is a wonderful medium which many people are interested in but daunted to try. This course will encourage learners to develop painting skills and imagination through observation in a supportive and relaxed environment. There will be a Life model (unclothed) available for 2 weeks each term. Throughout the course you will work from sketchbook, photographs, found images or direct observation. Learners will be encouraged to share their observations and discoveries with one another as part of the process. The tutor aims for you to have fun and produce confident paintings.
